Italy’s Ornellaia has risen to become one of the world’s most prestigious wineries in a relatively short time. Founded in 1981, the estate is also a pioneer of critically acclaimed wines from the Bolgheri region close to the Tuscan coast.

With vineyards largely planted to ‘Bordeaux’ grape varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, Ornellaia deftly combines classicism with the estate’s own rich Tuscan terroir and meticulous approach to winemaking to produce sumptuous wines that marry elegance with intensity.

Sales and Marketing Director Vianney Gravereaux will lead guests through eight vintages of Ornellaia’s eponymous, flagship wine in this exclusive masterclass. Spanning four decades, from new-release Ornellaia 2020 back to the 1990 vintage, it is a rare chance to explore the DNA of this sought-after ‘SuperTuscan’ wine.
