What is the date and timings for Decanter Fine Wine Encounter London 2025?
The one-day event will be held on two days this year - Friday 7 November and Saturday 8 November 2025 at The Landmark, London.
- Friday Grand Tasting is from 3pm - 8pm
- Saturday Grand Tasting is from 11am - 5:30pm
If you have booked a Saturday combined Grand Tasting and Cellar Collection ticket, then please check which Cellar Collection session you have selected:
- Morning: 10.30am - 1.30pm
- Afternoon: 2.30pm - 5.30pm
Masterclasses will be held on Saturday throughout the day at various times - please refer to the timings of your chosen class here. Please ensure you arrive at your class 10 minutes before the starting time, latecomers will not be permitted to join and spaces may be subject to resale.
Can I access the Saturday Cellar Collection room with a Friday Grand Tasting only ticket?
You must purchase a combined Saturday Grand Tasting and Cellar Collection ticket in order to access a Cellar Collection session. You will not gain access to the Cellar Collection with a Friday Grand Tasting ticket. On arrival you will receive a colour-coded wristband giving you access to what you have booked.
Can I purchase a Masterclass ticket separately?
Yes. You do not need a Grand Tasting ticket in order to attend a Masterclass. You may buy these separately.
Can I book tickets for other people?
Of course - you can book tickets for other people via the Group Ticket registration. Please note: you must choose the same classes Masterclasses for your group as a whole. You cannot select different options within one transaction. If you would like to do different classes to your group, we recommend purchasing tickets separately via the Single Ticket option on the registration form.
Alternatively, please contact events@decanter.com and we will be happy to assist with your booking and ensure your group has the preferred itinerary.
What is the Group discount 6 for 5 valid on?
The exclusive Group Discount 6 for 5 is only valid on Grand Tasting only tickets on Friday and Saturday. It is not valid on combined Grand Tasting and Cellar Collection tickets and Masterclass tickets. The tickets will be automatically discounted when you select 6 x Grand Tasting only tickets and you add 'GROUP' into the discount code box on the payment page. Please note: the group discount has limited availability.
When will I receive my e-tickets?
You will receive your E-Ticket immediately once payment is confirmed via email and/or you can download your E-Ticket as a pdf from the confirmation page. Each e-ticket will have a barcode which details a personalised itinerary of the day and will be scanned on admission to the event. Please keep hold of this e-ticket if you have access to a Masterclass so the onsite scanning staff can check you and your guests in at the allocated time slot of these experiences. If you have booked tastings/classes on both days, please keep hold of the eticket as it will be scanned again.
What are ticket terms and conditions including cancellation policy?
Once payment has been processed your booking is confirmed. The payment will show on your bank statement as FUTURE PLC. Swoogo, on behalf of the event organiser Future plc, is in charge of invoicing and payment handling and will charge the transaction total from your credit or debit card. Tickets are non refundable but can be transferred to another name. Please refer to our terms & conditions for our events for more information.
Are there any food options at the event?
The Friday evening Grand Tasting will offer complimentary gourmet carving station as part of your ticket. On the Saturday, complimentary cheese and charcuterie will be available in the Cellar Collection room. On the day, you will be provided with a wristband so you will be able to leave the building for lunch if you wish.
What happens at registration / on admission to the event?
When you arrive at the venue, The Landmark London , you will need to register your e-ticket. Our reception team will scan your ticket and you will receive a colour coded wristband so you can access the Grand Tasting Room (and Cellar Collection if applicable). This will ensure you can move freely around the event and you may leave the hotel to purchase lunch if you have Saturday tickets.
Please keep your e-ticket if you have booked masterclasses as our scanning team will check admission into these rooms at the allocated time slots.
Can I book Masterclass tickets on the day?
If there is availability on the day, you may be able to purchase a Masterclass. Please speak to a member of the reception team who will be able to assist you. Payment can be made via a card machine. However, we recommend you purchase a ticket for these experiences in advance as places are limited.
Are there any age restrictions?
Strictly over 18s. No children will be admitted including babies-in-arms.
What is the dress code?
Dress code is smart / casual.
Will there be filming/photographers at the event?
Yes there will be filming and photography at the event. Please be aware that by attending, you consent to being filmed and/or photos of you being taken, without compensation. This recorded media will be made available online at decanter.com and across various social media platforms and used for promotional purposes. By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.
a) If you do not want to be filmed, please contact events@decanter.com. Please note you may still appear in recorded media as part of a crowd or group of people.
b) You understand that by attending the event you consent to being filmed. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.
