ABOUT DWWA
The 18th edition of the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) saw its biggest year to date, with a record 18,094 wines tasted from 56 countries. Over 15 consecutive days in June, almost 170 expert wine judges, including 44 Masters of Wine and 11 Master Sommeliers, awarded 50 Best in Show, 179 Platinum, 635 Gold, 5,607 Silver and 8,332 Bronze medals.
Recently awarded Event of the Year at the prestigious PPA Awards 2021, DWWA was commended for its sustainable initiatives, logistical success and tenacity to run a live event safely during a pandemic. Learn more here.

CHARITY WINE SALE
As part of the rigorous DWWA judging process, wines are re-tasted up to four separate times across three stages of judging, so entrants must send four bottles per entry in the chance that they move up the rounds of judging. That means almost 72,400 bottles were sent in from around the globe for the 2021 competition.
Leftover wines are auctioned by Christie's and sold in the annual DWWA charity wine sale, with all proceeds donated to a number of charities.

Please read our terms & conditions and delivery information before placing your order. Please note, wine deliveries will only be made within the UK excluding the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and BFPO addresses. Prices include delivery.
Each case includes 12 bottles of randomly mixed wines entered in the 2021 competition. Please note, we are unable to make bespoke cases nor exchange wines.
