Decanter Presents: An Evening Celebrating the Versatility of Bardolino & Chiaretto di Bardolino

Decanter invites you to an exclusive tasting of the three soles of Bardolino.

With over a century of history and widespread recognition, wines from Bardolino reflect a profound connection to its territory, a distinctive microclimate, and a consistent ability to produce modern and contemporary wines from its indigenous grape variety Corvina Veronese.

The evening’s program will concentrate on three principal styles of the region, highlighting Corvina’s versatility and its remarkable ability to convey terroir characteristics.

The tasting will begin with different expressions of Chiaretto di Bardolino—a classic rosé that offers an elegant alternative to traditional white wines.

Two types of red wines will be the next focus: First, Bardolino: a highly adaptable red wine, ideal as an aperitif or paired throughout a meal due to its harmonious acidity followed by various vintages of Bardolino di Sottozona: three distinctive interpretations of the grape, each representing specific zones within the region and illustrating the diverse climates and terroir of the region.
