This tasting is a unique opportunity to experience the magic of Château Margaux and experience four decades worth of these sensational wines. 

Château Margaux is owned and run by Corinne Mentzelopoulos with her children Alexandra and Alexis. It is an estate that dates back to the 12th century, became a full-time wine producing property in the 16th century, was classified at the very top of the ranking in 1855, and is today the only one of the five First Growths to be have no sister estates elsewhere.

Join Alexis Leven-Mentzelopoulos and Decanter's Georgina Hindle as they lead you through this vertical including five stunning vintages of Château Margaux, spreading over three decades, plus a showing of the estate's other wines; Pavillon Blanc and Rouge du Château Margaux, and Margaux du Château Margaux.

Speaker: Alexis Leven-Mentzelopoulos

Alexis, son of owner Corinne Mentzelopoulos joined Château Margaux in 2020 as deputy managing director, where his sister Alexandra had already been present since 2012.

He is in charge of Business Development and is involved in all aspects of the aspects of the company and represents the château both in France and abroad. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Communications from the American University of Paris and a Master of Science degree in Vineyard and Winery Management from the Bordeaux National School of Agronomic Engineering (Bordeaux Sciences Agro).
